best learning apps for toddlers

Mom:  “Why don’t you spend enough time with the Kid”?

Father: “See, we are watching YouTube together”

Mom: “Do you even know what he is watching?”

With a Screen device in every hand, we all are changing the definitions of Entertainment and Play.  According to the survey by AppyStore, 58 percent Indian parents use Internet based tools for their kids.

We cannot stop their fascination for screen devices, but we can always control what they see and hear. The age group of 2-8 years is very crucial for child’s development and this makes us Parents to be very careful before choosing the stuff for them.

I uninstalled YouTube from my phone with which he had the liberty to browse almost everything in this world. He was free to click any advertisement, any freaking video.

Moreover, learning has gone digital and we need to find safe ways for them. AppyStore app is one of them, which is now among the best learning apps for toddlers- It’s a fun learning app for the kids aging from 1.5 yrs to 8 yrs. The app has more than 5000 educational videos from various categories such as songs and rhymes, stories, arts and crafts etc. all in one app.

The app is not only limited to toddlers, as they have Audio feature for Infants too. Once the Kid starts going to school, parents need to find innovative ways of learning and help them with their home practice. AppyStore helps them to keep learning in a fun way with its interactive audio visuals. Their age-tailored content is the most loving feature of mine.

I myself do not recommend more than 30 mins of screen time for toddlers and more than 1 hour for school going kids and therefore I like AppyStoreapp. Along with access to plenty of learning videos, they also provide 25 FREE worksheets each month to supplement to audio-visual learning. Not only coloring and counting, these worksheets have fun exercises too- thumb painting, craft work, collage making and so on.

Since the kids will be back-to-school in June, AppyStore app will serve as an excellent refresher and supplement the kids’ learning before stepping back to the school. So why don’t you try yourself and enroll for their Summer camp.

With AppyStore, you can now relax and need not keep a check on them. They will only see what they should. I like the app more as I am exploring it with one lesson a day.

This seems like a fun app. One cannot keep the children away from gadgets any longer. What one can do is make sure they’re accessing age-appropriate sites and information.
