Being confident- An open ended conversation

January 14, 2017
being more confident

Sometimes, a casual conversation ends up in food for thought.

There’s a girl in our Office building whose first glance is so impressive that no one can take their eyes off her.

Ahh, I am going wrong again- How can I decide for others.

Okey, editing my words-  I myself could not take my eyes off her. She is so PERFECT in her dressing, hair, skin and everything that first glance tells.

Yesterday, she was a part of our discussion. Lucky girl!

We are a group of 3 ladies in my Office who move out for after-lunch trolls to get some Vitamin D out in the Sun.

Now, you know who I am referring to “Our”. If you are a Boy, you must be thinking Why we Girls  talk about other girls. If you are a Girl, I need not explain anything :)- Right?

It was when I told them about that Girl and asked them if they ever saw her. They nodded with the same thoughts.

Now the conversation-

“I am not sure How these Girls maintain them so well”

“It looks like that they are just out fresh from the parlor”

“They must be doing regular touch ups”

“I cannot imagine myself like this”

“I don’t have enough time and energy”

My comment-

They must feel confident about themselves when they look so perfect”

THE REPLY which made me write this post-

“Then, their confidence must fall on the same basis too”

The crux-
People whose confidence boosts up totally on how they look, their confidence must crash down on the same basis too.

I too sometimes talk with my girlfriends how so and so look so perfect and talks so confidently. They inspire me 😀 Good looks and dressing can make you more confident… But I don’t think it goes away if you dress shabbily… Those who are confident can wear rags and sound like President 😉 they are comfortable in their own skin. That’s what I believe.

I would say, with a varying extent, yes and no! 😀
