Entering 30s series- Treating myself

November 11, 2016
29TH birthday

Its my 29th birthday tomorrow.

Do you consider it as a monumental event?

Are you already there or still need to reach the milestone?

Its time for me to look back and inside. Its time for a long post but not to make you bore, I am thinking to divide my “Entering 30” series into 2-3 posts.

Turning 30 is one of those things that almost everyone has perspective about.

In the past I read so many posts telling 30 is a big number. Really! I have no intentions to hide the number but to shout-out loud.

In my late 20s, I wasn’t much excited about my birthday but this time I am feeling like all set for the celebration. I am planning to treat myself those small things I wish for. I want the day to be different for me to remember.

Rather than expecting others to make this day special for me, I will take the lead this year.

Small things matter

I will bathe before 7 am and go to a religious place to absorb the positive vibes.

I will start my day with a healthy breakfast.

I will write thank notes to everyone who shaped me.

To give up all the grudges.

Pamper myself

I will watch a Movie at home.

I will get myself a Cheese cup-cake.

I will go for a nature walk.

I will write Chalkboard for myself.

I will have a Home photo-shoot to capture the still-present youth.

29th birthday is the best time to try new things

Registered for a marathon( Update: MY FIRST MARATHON)

29th birthday

I want to say sayonara to my twenties in style. Wish me good.

Also do not forget to share the way you welcomed your 30s.

Next in the series is a look-back post.

It was awhile ago that I celebrated 29 but I do remember a night of golf, a lovely dinner with friends and savouring every morsel of my favourite dessert, strawberry shortcake. I hope your birthday was a special one, happy blessings to you. ????????

What a great way to celebrate your 30’s . That was a big milestone I crossed a long time ago. If I remember correctly I went for a Russian Circus show with my family… and of course a celebratory dinner !

Happy Birthday Upasna! Wish you all the good luck for your thirties 😀 that’s a sweet and pleasant way to spend your day. For me birthdays are about smearing creams, chocolates and a lot of laughter and selfies. I wonder how it’d be a decade later. 🙂

Thanks Dashy. It was the same for me too. Enjoy the phase.
