Who is your Backlight?

June 9, 2016

Who is my inspiration? Often we get the question “Who inspires you”.

Today is not one of the good days. I can feel the weakness- My arms are getting numb and my feet paining.

I hate this feeling when health is in the blues . I know everyone does.

But then I hate it more because it is reflecting on my face and sap my energy making it difficult for me to run after my Toddler.

From last 4 months, my weight is slumping recurrently and Now, I am little reluctant to step up onto the scale. I am afraid if I go weightless one day.

Right now, my mind cannot think of anything else but how to bring the things back to normal.

Decided to call Mother as I know she will definitely make me feel as if everything will be fine soon.

—-I will be right back——

Ting tong… here I am again not physically active but at-least fueled mentally. She mentioned all the quick tricks to feel goody-goody.

Its not that I don’t know these tips but when it comes from my Mother, I feel like following them.

She reminded me of all the possibilities and respective cures- Trying them one by one till I see Doc.

Her words are my inspiration.

Her calmness is my inspiration.
Who is your Backlight; the one whose words light up your life? Who is the one who has the power to alter your thoughts?

Mom’s simply have this knack of sorting things out no matter what the problem. They simply have this gift & they’re proof that God does exist 🙂

Isn’t it interesting that we’ll take our mother’s advice but not our own at times? I hope you’re feeling better really soon! Also I need to think about who my backlight is…

Yes it is, I think because sometimes we want to hear replica of our Inner voice and who would be perfect other than her.

Thanks Kristi, I have started medication.Do tell us when you get to know 🙂

Mine would be my sister. Even though she’s younger to me by five years, she’s who I go to.

In last few days, I found Sisters are boon. I wish I had one. Happy for you.

My mother and my wife I guess. Since there are two of them, they might be better as headlights, of course.

Mum, my friend, VT – these are the closest folks. And yes, sometimes we all get so exhausted that one conversation and it feels things are better 🙂

Thanks for dropping by Parul. I am happy to be a part of tribe.

It would be my sister, always. Though she a few years younger but as we were growing she seems to have caught up and we’ve become almost twins (Is there even anything that?). You take care of yourself – one year olds can be exhausting.

I call and tell her, “Am, motivate me.. ” and the magic begins to work right from the time I decide to call her I guess.. the mere act 🙂

WoW, it sounds great- Motivate me- but its so relaxing to ask for motivation. Thanks for your thoughts.

Now when you said that, it immediately reminded me of “Surprise me!” from Ratatouille.. (one of my favourites)

I’m that mother too – when my daughter starts to bottom out, I know she can depend on me to help her hold on. It makes being a mum so special.
