We all have an unfulfilled dream.

We can dream for things and then turn them into a reality. That’s the power God has given us. But sometimes, dreams are left midway and does not come to fruition. The reason can be any but the desire to make the dream come true should never die.

Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”

Yes, my dream has a future.

When I close my eyes, I hear the musical chords- TA THAI THAI TAT

unfulfilled dream

A wish still resides in my heart and I hope to re-live it.

Those who does not know about the dance form-  Kathak is one of the ten major forms of Indian classical dance and Ghungru(trinkets) are strapped to the feet of a dancer.

Do you have any unfulfilled dream? And how does that make you feel?

Having an unfulfilled dream that burns as desire in your heart is just the one you must work on realizing, soon. Beautiful play of words there that captured the essence of what your little self went through. May your dream turn to a reality soon 🙂

I too had a dream of pursuing Photography as a profession but couldn’t take up as a career option because there was no-one to guide me at the time when I had to make a choice. Though I couldn’t convert my passion into profession but still these days, I manage some time for myself to follow my heart. I think you should also start doing what you like the most. Kathak is such a wonderful dance form. You will love the new addition to your life for sure. Just follow your heart and start a fresh. 🙂

    Also,I loved the verse! 🙂

It’s a painful idea, isn’t it? The phrase “unfulfilled dreams” has a lonely tone, as though when our dreams go unfulfilled life has short changed us. Life or, perhaps, God.It’s an aching truth we are not guaranteed our dreams will become a reality. There is no guarantee our dreams will come true in our lifetimes, and for some, dreams will never be realized at all. But is that the point of dreaming? Must our dreams be realized, or is the call to dream them in the first place? Humans are given the ability to dream. We are given the ability to imagine a future and then the ability, in part, to make it happen. In this way we have been made in God’s image. We can imagine things and then turn them into a reality. We must understand the realization of the dream is not so much the gift as the dream itself. Thank you for Linking up for #HappySunday in my blog.

Yes I am getting your point Nadaan. Ability to dream is a gift to us from almighty. I wonder if animals and other life forms has this ability? Whether realized or not, we should not stop dreaming. They are the fuel which keeps us going. Thanks for your detailed comment.
