Now that you have planned and published your podcast, hosted and distributed it across the platforms, next comes the marketing and promotion.
No matter how consistent you are, how good your voice is or how useful your content is but without marketing, it will not be able to gather ears.
So, how to market your podcast and gain organic traffic easily.
How to market your podcast in 3 easy ways
There are many ways to promote your podcast but I am sharing the ones which I have tried and tested personally for my podcast- Comeback Minimalist.
Social Media channels
Your target audience is not over all social media platforms and you need to do some research on it.
Whether your audience spend more time on Facebook or Instagram or Twitter etc.
Create social media pages using your podcast channel name. I hope you did the research on the availability of name before starting out (as I mentioned about it in my first post of this series: Things to do before starting your podcast)
Create posts for your episodes keeping in mind the specific dimensions suitable for each platform (Use Canva for all your designing needs). I did it for my Pinterest account and it did wonders.
Create an audio snippet to share the part of your episode which you may call “Podcast Clip“. Here is how you can do it using Wavve.
Blog
Create a page for your Podcast on your Blog by using any podcast-friendly plugin. I am using Seriously Simple Podcasting and you can checkout my podcast page here.
You can also write guest posts over other high authority Blogs to gain organic reach.
Time your episodes
Publish your episodes according to the timezone of your majority audience.
Also, try to line in your episodes with the major events like If you have something to say on celebrations, publish it around festivals. Another example can be talking about budget and finance during the financial year beginning. I hope you get my point.

I have noticed how a lot of podcasters have a website where they host all their podcast in one place. It seems like a smart thing to do – to have it all in one place.

How do I find out if my customers are interested in a podcast? Our brand, https://pwiworks.com/, builds and sells material handling equipment like overhead cranes, fall protection systems, and mezzanines. I’m doubtful that we can start a podcast that will interest our customers.
Obviously the topics will need to be interesting or helpful for our customers. What’s the best way to pitch this to customers as well as pinpoint the topic(s) to cover in the podcast?
hey thanks for sharing this post. i am thinking to start a podcasting but i am confused. but now after reading your article i am ready to start this.. thanks for this amazing information
