One of the quotes I love is this one from Roald Dahl’s Matilda: “The books transported her into new worlds and introduced her to amazing people who lived exciting lives. She went on olden-day sailing ships with Joseph Conrad. She went to Africa with Ernest Hemingway and to India with Rudyard Kipling. She travelled all over the world while sitting in her little room in an English village.”
It reminds me of the wonder of books, and how reading truly transports you. 🙂 xx #familyfun

People have to find motivation and inspiration every now and then, I guess that probably led to the invention of ‘quotes.’

It is hard to find anybody who doesn’t need an external trigger.

I have many favorite quotes. My all time favorite is – we all are a little broken and that’s how the light gets in. It shows how our problems and imperfections make us better. They give wisdom. I agree, quotes can make us smile, impart wisdom and win hearts.

I love that one “you grow through, what you go through,” that’s a keeper! One of my all time favourites is similar to yours, “you can do anything, but you can’t do everything” and the one I’ve kind of inherited from my mum, “winter always turns to spring, it’s the law of the universe.” I’m a sucker for a good quote, that’s for sure!

Nice topic.. 🙂 . My favorite quote – “Do your best , Leave the rest !”
During school days my mother and some one from relative told this to me to cheer me up. They said doing is what no one can take from us, so put in the efforts and leave the rest.. 🙂

    • Reply upasna March 8, 2017 at 11:05 am

Thanks Sakshi. The simplest is the quote but most complex to accept. Happy to have you around.
